It is a CapCut template trend on TikTok: from October 14, 2026, clips captioned “Cuando el cielo trae de vuelta un recuerdo” show a star bringing a loved one home on the marigold path.
“Cuando el cielo trae de vuelta un recuerdo”
“When the sky brings back a memory” — cielo is also heaven. The caption goes on: “Con el brillo de las estrellas, regresan los seres que tanto extrañamos,” with the glow of the stars, the ones we miss come back. People post it for a parent or grandparent who died, often the first Día de Muertos without them.
The marigold bridge for pets
The pet version began on 2025-09-29, when a creator shared the prompts she used to show her dogs crossing a bridge of marigolds; a “his first Day of the Dead” dog clip passed 10 million views that October. It came back as CapCut templates in October 2026.
The Catrina look
