The people are original characters generated for this trend, not real people or the dancers in the original clip. The clips are remixes of Seedance 2.0 Fast clips: re-cut, reframed and color graded for this page. In the workbench you pick from the models and credits shown. Last checked .
Upload one photo, build the still in the Rio night square, check your face and outfit, then animate it with the charme steps.
Upload one photo: one person, face large and sharp, full or three-quarter body. Pick Square at night, Under the viaduct or Retro dance hall and select Build the still. Image to Image puts you at the front of the crowd at 9:16.
Compare the still with your photo: face, hair, glasses, clothes. If anything is off, select Rebuild still. A new still costs far less than a new video, and the clip keeps whatever face the still has.
Select Animate it. Image to Video starts on the still and runs the four beats with a friend’s handheld phone filming. Download the MP4 and add a sound when you post.
It started with Seu Zé de Madureira, an AI grandpa that @seuzerj posted dancing charme at Pedra do Sal in Rio on October 16, 2026, copied from a real dancer’s take.
The 27-second, one-take clip shows an AI grandpa with a white afro, round glasses and suspenders dancing at the front of a packed night crowd; it had 139,400 plays on October 26. Pedra do Sal is a real square in Rio’s Saúde neighborhood, and the real charme dancer Zenegão filmed himself leading that crowd in early August 2026. The AI versions copy the opening of his take.
The first AI remake, with 80s action-star look-alikes, came on October 13; Seu Zé followed on October 16. The one-slot CapCut template “Ty” by Esme70275 appeared on October 18 and had 271,560 uses by October 20, and a Portuguese CapCut tutorial had 428,100 plays on October 26.
Charme is a Brazilian street dance and party style from early-1980s Rio that grew out of the 1970s bailes black: baile charme kept the smooth R&B, baile funk took the fast Miami-bass beats. Dancers move in rows doing the same steps, and the best-known party runs on Saturday nights under the Madureira viaduct.

The routine is four beats: a glance back at the phone, side steps with bouncing shoulders, a forward lean with the hands sliding past each other, and a turn back to the camera.
Use one prompt to place you in the Rio night square and one to move you through the four beats with a friend’s handheld phone filming.
Dancing with a friend: add “Add the person from my second photo dancing beside them on the right, both full body, keeping each face from its own photo.” to the still prompt and upload the friend’s photo as the second reference.
Pick the night square for the viral look, the viaduct for two people side by side, or the retro dance hall for a mirror-ball still.
VideoThe viral look: floodlights, cobbles and a packed crowd behind you. Works for a grandpa too, with his consent and a clear photo.
Video · second photoYou and a friend side by side at the Saturday party under the viaduct. Upload your photo and your friend’s as the second reference.
Still · can animateAn 80s charme hall with a mirror ball and couples in lines. The sample here is a still; Animate it still works if you want the clip.

An AI-made grandpa character from the TikTok account @seuzerj, posted dancing charme at Pedra do Sal in Rio on October 16, 2026, with the caption “Ninguém botou fé no vovô no baile charme” (nobody believed in grandpa at the baile charme). He is not a real man and not a song title.
Both parts exist. Pedra do Sal is a real square in Rio, and the real charme dancer Zenegão filmed himself leading that crowd in early August 2026. The grandpa and every remake are AI; they copy the opening of his take.
TikTok only shows “som original - seuzerj”. Trend pages name the party track as Nelly Furtado’s “Say It Right” (2006), and many CapCut results are reposted with “Ice Ice Baby”. Your clip here comes with an original groove, so add a sound when you post.
The template is “Ty” by Esme70275. Some people in tutorial comments hit a paywall or a missing button. You can skip it: build the still and animate it here in the browser, with the credits shown on each button.
One person, face large and sharp, full or three-quarter body so arms and legs have room, plain clothes. Skip group shots and sunglasses.
Keep the handheld line in the motion prompt so it looks like a friend filming, shorten the routine to one groove, one lean and one turn, and rebuild the still if your pose looks too formal.
Yes, with his consent and a clear photo of him. Pick Square at night, check his face in the still and keep the steps small; the grandpa in the trend is AI, so your version is his own take.
The same photo works in Swing Dance, Check One Check Two AI and the Day of the Dead AI video.
